Register to use our Teach, Key, and other online software. There is no fee for registration, and you don't need to be a professional Naturalist to be a member of our site. Once you have registered, you will be able to:
- Report a sighting of a plant or animal. Such reports will help us all understand the geographic distribution of species.
- Add your sighting to your Life List.Our system will maintain a list of the species you have seen, when you saw them, and where you saw them. You will have a running record of what you've seen.
- Interact with Teach, our tutorial software. Teach will help you improve your species recognition skills. But it needs to know who it is interacting with, so that it can track your progress.
- Interact with Key.Key will help you sort through the possibilities, and establish an identity for something you have seen. Key needs to know where you were when you saw this.
