Habitat

Biome: Terrestrial [1].

Ecology: This species lives in very dry, open and sunny habitats , near the coastline, in places with sand and calcareous stones substratum and with Mediterranean herbaceous and shrubland vegetation.[1].

Notes

The specimens of this species living in the Insel Pobre (Cabrera Archipelago) have been classified as a different subspecies (Xerocrassa ferreri pobrensis Gasull 1964). The other subpopulations belong to the nominal subspecies.[1].
