Physical Description

Adult : Head : Hood : blue-gray Face : Eye Stripe: white Neck: Throat : white Body: Back: bright greenish olive Belly: white Breast: white Flanks: bright yellow, sometimes mixed with green Sides: bright yellow, sometimes mixed with green Wings : Secondaries: greenish yellow trim on dark Tertials: yellow wash Tail: greenish olive with white edges on outer feathers Crissum: white.

Size/Age/Growth

About 4.75-5.25 inches long, with a wingspan of 8.5 to 8.5 inches. Adults weigh about 0.6 ounces .

Habitat

Found in coniferous and deciduous forests during migration.
