Habitat

Biome: Terrestrial [1].

Ecology:  

Though this is not an obligate rock-dwelling species, it is associated with rocky habitats (mostly in limestone areas), where it is usually found in the crevices, under stones or among leaf litter at the base of rocks. Though according to (Damjanov and Likharev 1975) in Bulgaria it lives in wooded areas around swamps and rivers , under the leaf litter and under the stones in areas of high humidity.
