Habitat

Biome: Terrestrial [1].

Ecology: It is an arboreal , diurnal inhabitant of tropical moist and dry forest , and forest edges. It is typically seen on tree trunks to a height of 20 m or more. It has also been recorded from rock walls in human habitation such as fields , as well as in more built up urban areas. It is most likely a live bearing species like others in the group. [1].

Name Status: Accepted Name .

The Mexican populations are one subspecies and the Guatemalan/Belize species are another that could potentially be elevated to species status (J. Lee pers. comm. ).[1].
