Common Names in English:
Bushveld Horseshoe Bat
Description
Habitat
Ecology:
This species is typically associated with caves in areas of moist
savanna
. It is also reported from bushveld adjacent
to rivers
and
savanna woodland (particularly Brachystegia woodland in
Zimbabwe) (Skinner
and Smithers, 1990). Availability of day roosts
in the form of caves and mine adits is a necessary component
of their
habitat
(Taylor, 1998).[1].
