Habitat

Typically found at an altitude of 0 to 5,013 meters (0 to 16,447 feet).[1]

Ecology: It digs burrows on flat to steep coastal slopes below 150 m , often interspersed with other petrel colonies1,2. Its diet is not well known, although it is known to take squid1.
