Genus Trabrooksia

Small sessile flattened sporocarps or plasmodiocarps lacking lime. Peridium iridescent blue. Columella absent. Capillitium of vertical tubules formed by invaginations of the upper peridium. Monotypic. Lado 2000, 'Nomenmyx' lists Trabrooksia as a synonym of Didymium following G.W. Martin, C.J. Alexopoulos & M .L. Farr 1983 'The Genera of Myxomycetes' where the sp. is given as a limeless form of Didymium sturgisii
