forms of N. exaltata cv. `Bostoniensis' and its derivatives are widely cultivated, and the following are known from Florida: N. exaltata cv. `Bostoniensis', N. exaltata cv. `Elegantissima' complex
, N. exaltata cv. `Florida Ruffles', N. exaltata cv. `M. P. Mills'.[1]
Landscaping
Care: Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system . Feed frequently during growing season with a general purpose fertilizer . Cut back old fronds after new growth begins in spring .
Habitat
Typically found at an altitude of 0 to 610 meters (0 to 2,001 feet).[2]
