Tree to 10m; blades 3-10cm x 2.5-6, elliptic to almost round , apex often notched , base slightly cordate; veins prominent . Flowers fragrant; petals 2-3 x 1-1.5cm greenisyh or white; filaments 4-10cm long; fruits slightly flattened, not cylindical, c. 7-20cm long x 1.5-3cm.
