Sporocarps caespitose or crowded, sessile or sub-stipitate. Peridium persistent, iridescent. Columella absent or present, sometimes reaching the apex, sometimes branched at the base into 2 or 3 main branches. Capillitium netted, arising from the length of a columella, with free tips at the periphery.
