Small, stalked or sessile sporocarps, or narrow plasmodiocarps. Dehiscence of sporocarpous forms by means of platelets or by an operculum, and plasmodiocarpous spp. by a longitudal slit. Spore-mass white or coloured. Many spp. are corticolous.
