Adenostyles, is a large genus of to a flowering plants in the sunflower family , and of the constantly changing tribe Senecioneae. Adenostyles occur in the temperate climates of the northern hemisphere, mainly in Europe and Asia minor.
Adenostyles includes species which used to be considered of the genus Cacalia3] and was once (in 1883) used for a genus of Orchidaceae.[4]
