The Subclass Phallomycetidae is further organized into finer groupings including:
- Order (4): Geastrales · Gomphales · Hysterangiales · Phallales
Orders
Geastrales
Gomphales
Hysterangiales
Phallales
The Phallales are an order of fungi that is more or less synonymous with the gomphoid-phalloid clade. At one time, the order was composed entirely of Stinkhorns (Family Phallaceae), but has been expanded to include other families due to modern DNA analysis. [more]
At least 1,326 species and subspecies belong to the Order Phallales.
