Cicer

Cicer is a genus of the legume family Fabaceae. Its native distribution is across the Middle East and Asia. Its best known and only domesticated member is Cicer arietinum, the species which includes the Chickpea, or Garbanzo bean, and Chana dal. [more]

At least 91 species and subspecies belong to the Genus Cicer.
