Caenogastropoda
Caenogastropoda is a very large taxonomic group, a superorder of saltwater (and in a minor way freshwater) snails, (aquatic and marine gastropods). The Caenogastropoda are within the gastropod infraclass Apogastropoda. [more]
Clathrinida
Clathrinida is an order of Calcinea. Members of this order have calcareous skeletons, and are strictly marine. These sponges have an asconoid structure and lack a true dermal membrane or cortex. The spongocoel is lined with choanocytes. [more]
Murchisoniina
Neotaenioglossa
The Neotaenioglossa is an extant name. It was originally named by Haller in 1882. Ponder and Warén (1988) and Marquet (1997) assigned it to the superorder Caenogastropoda. ITIS considers the order Neotaenioglossa a synonym of Cerithioidea Férussac, 1819 [more]
Sorbeoconcha
Sorbeoconcha is a very large taxonomic order of snails, (mostly sea snails with gills and often with an operculum). These are primarily marine (and a few freshwater) gastropod mollusks within the superorder Caenogastropoda. [more]
At least 4,964 species and subspecies belong to the Order sorbeoconcha.
