The Hook-billed Kingfisher (Melidora macrorrhina) is a species of bird in the Alcedinidae family. It is the only species within the genus Melidora.[] It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.[1]
