Pteriomorpha
Pteriomorphia is a mollusc subclass of the Bivalvia. Apart from the major orders and suborders Arcoida, Ostreoida, Pectinoida, Limoida, Mytiloida, and Pterioida, it also contains some extinct and probably basal families, such as the , Colpomyidae, Bakevelliidae, Cassianellidae and Lithiotidae. Trigonioida
Trigoniida is order of medium-sized saltwater clams, marine bivalve mollusks. Within the fossil record the occurrence of this order is widespread, ranging from the Devonian Period to Recent. [more]
At least 395 species and subspecies belong to the Order Trigonioida.
