Coeliadinae is a of the Hesperiidae ("skippers") family of butterflies.

In Coeliadinae the second segment of the palpae is erect and densely-scaled and the third segment is perpendicular to it, long, slender and without scales. The subfamily is restricted to the Old World tropics.The subfamily was erected by William Frederick Evans in 1934.
