Physical Description

Adult : Head : Crown: brown with black streaks and whitish stripe in middle+B13 Ear Coverts: brown Face : Eyebrow Line : white Malar : white Body: Back: gray-brown stripes Breast: pale gray-white with buffy wash Underparts: pale gray-white.

Size/Age/Growth

About 5.5 inches long, with a wingspan of 8 to 8 inches. Adults weigh about 0.4 ounces .

Habitat

Vegetation: arid lowland scrubs, arid lowland scrubs, second-growth scrub, arid lowland scrubs, pastures and agricultural lands • Maximum Elevation: 2,000 meters • Sensitivity to Disturbance: Low

Typically found in a lake at a mean distance from sea level of 536 meters (1,759 feet).[1]
