Habitat

Typically found at an altitude of 0 to 1,860 meters (0 to 6,102 feet).[1]

Ecology: This species has been recorded from a variety of habitats , ranging from lowland tropical moist forest , to both moist and dry savanna . Animals have been found roosting in a house and in a hollow dead palm tree (Happold 1987).[2].
