Description
Family Nectariniidae
A Family of tropical passerine birds that feed on nectar and insects. They fly fast on short wings, have long thin down-curved bills and brush-tipped tubular tongues. Nests are shaped like suspended purses.
Habitat
Typically found in water with a depth of 0 to -2,740 meters (0 to -8,990 feet).[1]
