Physical Description
Adult : Head : Crown: dark brown streaks with whitish or pale central stripe Face : Eyebrow Line : yellow or whitish Body: Underparts: buff to white with brown streaks Upperparts: dark brown streaks Legs : Foot Color: pinkish Leg Color: pinkish.
Size/Age/Growth
About 5.25 to 6.25 inches long, with a wingspan of 8 to 9.5 inches. Adults weigh about 0.8 ounces .
Habitat
Found in overgrown pastures during migrations, and in agricultural fields and on beaches during the winter.
