Physical Description

Adult : Face : Chin: bold yellow Eye Ring: broken white Neck: Throat : bold yellow Body: Belly: white Breast: bold yellow with chestnut and slate to blackish bands on upper breast Upperparts: bluish-gray Tail: blue-gray with white spots on outer feathers Length : short Undertail Coverts: white.

Size/Age/Growth

About 4.25 inches long, with a wingspan of 7 to 7 inches. Adults weigh about 0.3 ounces .

Habitat

Vegetation: tropical lowland evergreen forest, tropical lowland evergreen forest, second-growth forests and woodlands, tropical lowland evergreen forest, pine-oak forests, gallery forests • Maximum Elevation: 1,500 meters • Sensitivity to Disturbance: Low
