Family : Combtooth blennies ; Ophioblennius larvae are frequently taken in deep water column[1]. The adults are restricted to shallow waters and dwell among rocks and coral reefs[1]; where there is considerable wave action[2]. Bites very severely, with its two very long and sharp canine teeth[3]. Feeds on filamentous algae[4].
