Family Nassariidae
Lowermost portion of the body whorls including the siphonal canal, set off from the rest of it by a conspicuous groove that interrupts the axial ribs.
Habitat
Typically found in the intertidal zone at the water's edge at a mean distance from sea level of -190 meters (-623 feet).[1]
