Habitat

Biome: Terrestrial ; Freshwater [1].

Ecology: This is a tropical forest species. Males of this species call from rocks in streams during the daytime. The eggs are laid on land ; hatching tadpoles (11-19 in number) are carried to streams by the male where they complete their development. It is not thought to occur in degraded habitat .[1].
