Uropods absent; abdomen either firm or soft, segmented or unsegmented , folded against the underside of the thorax, not twisted; notliving in snail shells , worm tubes , or cavities in sponge masses.

Habitat

Typically found in water with a depth of 0 to -2,697 meters (0 to -8,848 feet).[1]
