Description
Family Laridae
Medium to large birds, usually grey or white, often with black markings on the head or wings. They have stout, longish bills, and webbed feet.

Size/Age/Growth
About 10 to 12 inches long, with a wingspan of 24 to 26 inches. Adults weigh about 4.2 ounces .
Habitat
