Habitat

Biome: Terrestrial ; Freshwater [1].

Ecology: Temporary urban pools at new construction (Garrison and Hafernik 1981). Also in depressions at the foot of steep hillsides where water seeps down (D.R. Paulson pers. comm. ).[1].
