Biome: Freshwater [1].

Ecology: This species is known as dead shells from freshwater springs , and is presumed to live in the groundwater feeding the springs. (Ref. 279607).

Notes

This species was originally viewed as a subspecies of Iglica gratulabunda (Gloer 2002).  The shell form is variable, as shown by Gloer (2002, p. 142)[1].
