Adult Female: Face : Forehead: rujsty Neck: Throat : dark rusty brown Body: Breast: white with dark bluish black band Upperparts: dark iridescent blue-black Tail: blackish with white spots Shape : deeply forked.

About 6.75 to 7.5 inches long, with a wingspan of 12.5 to 13.5 inches. Adults weigh about 0.6 ounces .
