Habitat

Typically found at an altitude of 0 to 4,535 meters (0 to 14,879 feet).[1]

Ecology: Found in forests (south), rural and urban areas (north). Nectarivorous. Found in caves, tunnels, and houses. Co-inhabit with Carollia. Willig (1983) found more than 2,000 individuals in an abandoned house in Brazil.[2].
