Physical Description
Size/Age/Growth
Males are commonly 50 cm (Total Length) in length when caught/marketed, but may be as large as 100 cm (Total Length).
Habitat
Inhabits hard bottoms (rock or rubble ) down to 200 m depth. Usually found in shallow water less than 50 m deep[1].
Typically found in water with a depth of 0 to -5,403 meters (0 to -17,726 feet).[2]
