Habitat

Ecology: Formerly, it inhabited wooded areas from the lowlands to the mountains1, but it is now known only from lowland cultivation with scattered groups of palm trees4. It is usually seen in small groups, with birds foraging in trees and on the ground for fruits, seeds, insects and lizards6. Nests are located in stands of tall palms4, with breeding from March-July3,6,7. [1]
