Physical Description
Adult : Body: Underparts: scaly grayish-white Upperparts: gray-buff Tail: Length : long Shape : square-ended.
Color:
Pale gray brown body darker on back and upper wings and extensively scaly .
Size/Age/Growth
About 7.5 to 8 inches long, with a wingspan of 12 to 13 inches. Adults weigh about 1.7 ounces .
Habitat
Common in open areas comparable to grasslands, yards , and countrysides.
