Species Chrysoblephus cristiceps

Males are commonly 40 cm (Total Length) in length when caught/marketed, but may be as large as 75 cm (Total Length).

Habitat

May be found at depths of 30 to 100 meters.

Typically found in water with a depth of 0 to -2,813 meters (0 to -9,229 feet).[2]
