Physical Description

Adult : Head : black, white, and chestnut-brown stripes Ear Coverts: chestnut Face : Malar : black Mustachial Stripe : white Body: Back: brown and black streaks Flanks: buff wash Upperparts: whitish Tail: black with white edging Length : long Shape : rounded.

Size/Age/Growth

About 5.75 to 6.75 inches long, with a wingspan of 10.5 to 11 inches. Adults weigh about 1 ounce .

Habitat

Found in sandy, brushy areas.
