Only known from a few specimens collected at depths over 30 m along the current-swept drop-offs of Orote Peninsula, Guam. Occurs singly or in pairs among black corals . Does well in captivity.

Habitat

May be found at depths of 36 to 75 meters.

Ecology: It has been recorded on coral reefs and rocky reefs from steep drop-offs and vertical walls where currents are strong , with abundant growth of gorgonians and black coral.[1].
