Range and Population:

This species occurs on the eastern and lower slopes of the Andes from the amazonian slopes of Táchira state in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador to Bolivia, and also in the Amazon Basin in Brazil. It occurs up to elevations of 1,500 m asl in Bolivia. (Ref. 0)
