About 12 to 13 inches long, with a wingspan of 17 to 19 inches.
Habitat
Vegetation: tropical lowland evergreen forest, tropical deciduous forests, tropical lowland evergreen forest, second-growth forests and woodlands, tropical lowland evergreen forest, pine-oak forests • Maximum Elevation: 2,200 meters • Foraging Strata: Canopy • Center of Abundance: Upper tropical: higher slopes, 900-1,600 m.; tropics. • Sensitivity to Disturbancet: Medium
