Family : Cardinalfishes ; Inhabits rock pools but also found to depths of at least 50 m. Hides in holes and crevices during the day (Ref. 13121). Feeds on plankton [1].

Habitat
May be found at depths of 0 to 50 meters. Usually found at depths of 0 to 35 meters.
Typically found in water with a depth of 0 to -2,374 meters (0 to -7,789 feet).[2]
