Notes
Mandahl-Barth (1950) and Bank et al. (2002) treat this as a separate species. Waldén (1983) noted the status as a distinct species from nitidiuscula was uncertain. Seddon (pers. com, 2010) noted that detailed surveying may allow the recognition of the species limits between A. nitidiuscula and A. giramica.[1].
